A Fresh Start

So its been a while since I wrote an entry and I think its because I've been reflecting on the direction I would like to take in my coaching practice. While I will always be someone who wishes to help others live and spend time abroad, I cannot help but observe how my personal life has evolved while living abroad. What I have discovered, but deep down I always knew, is that to truly enjoy life anywhere we must take care of and nurture our mental, physical and spirtual health. Even though we may want to start a new life abroad, we still must consider our physical and spiritual areas of life. Therefore I would like to approach my coaching experience from the perspective of reinvention through mental, physical and spritual preparation.   Everything is connected. When you focus on observing and improving one part of your life, you gain insight into the way you conduct other parts of your life. Any change in behavior that produces new results in one area of your life can produce new results in any other area.

All of this is to say that I am now documenting my physical endeavors which involve marathon and triathlon training. I have run marathons for many years but I am now a beginning triathlete. In sharing my new pursuit, I hope to connect with others on the same path as well as with those who wish to get started.

You can join me in sharing my physical adventures (triathlons and training) at my new facebook page, http://www.facebook.com/GylGoldenTriathlonTraining
